We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Upper School Math Teacher for the 26-27 school year. This position will directly report to the Assistant Head of School and will be responsible for developing curriculum, designing lessons, and engaging students in high-quality learning. Candidates should be familiar with differentiated instruction so that each student has the opportunity to do work that is appropriately challenging. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience teaching to high school-aged students.

Teacher-In-Resident, 26-27 school year

The Steamboat Mountain School (SMS) Teacher-In-Residence program is an experiential opportunity designed for early-career educators and recent college graduates interested in independent school teaching. Participants engage in teaching and learning across our Kindergarten to Twelfth Grade academic, experiential, and boarding programs (9th – 12th). Each resident is paired with a mentor, leads outdoor programming, and supports boarding students on campus. This 10-month program includes room accommodation in the faculty dormitory and meals served in the US dining hall according to the daily schedule.

Cook, for immediate start

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook for this school year. The school is interested in filling this position as soon as possible. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of commercial kitchen or restaurant experience. Knowledge of kitchen operations and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of a busy kitchen is essential. We are interested in an individual who is willing to learn and contribute to menu development. Must be comfortable and able to prepare and serve and clean up an entire meal solo, as well as to work as a team for meals and special events.
