The culmination of the admissions year happens on Registration Day. Registration day is a unique opportunity SMS provides to bring the entire community together. New families show up with nerves and excitement and are welcomed into a tight-knit community that fosters relationships through conversation, the outdoors, small classrooms, dorm life, and meals. They are pulled right into the fold by meeting all the staff, faculty, and prefects while enjoying a BBQ dinner on the deck. The returning families bring the stories, smiles, and gracious energy to start the new year. They catch up with each other and open themselves up to new families. Registration day is a busy, jam-packed day filled with support, love, and passion from everyone who is a part.
