Though born in Virginia, Sophie grew up falling in love with the New Hampshire forests and waters. Her love of the natural world influenced her choice to major in Environmental Social Science at Davidson College in North Carolina. During her junior year, during virtual school, she went “abroad” to Montana, where Sophie worked at an environmental consulting firm and played around the mountains of Bozeman. Outside, you can find her paddling, hiking, sailing, and skiing, and inside, you’ll find her reading or working on a puzzle.
