Matt grew up in Colorado Springs with his 3 brothers. He graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2015 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. He has 16 years of experience teaching young children, and most recently taught at Discovery Learning Center from 2019-2022. He has lived in China, Thailand, and New Zealand while also spending time throughout Southeast Asia, Asia and the Middle East. He moved to Steamboat in 2019, and is the new Kindergarten teacher at Steamboat Mountain School. Matt is also a Pee Wee hockey coach in town. He loves hockey, skiing, and basically anything that involves being outside! He recently got a new puppy named Phoebe!
