Morgan joins the Mountain Campus faculty to teach Upper School Mathematics, bringing over 15 years of experience in independent and boarding school education. He most recently served as the Mathematics Department Chair at Cardigan Mountain School, a boarding school in New Hampshire. There, he taught a range of courses from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus. An enthusiastic outdoorsman, he has directed Nordic skiing and cross-country running programs and led extensive student expeditions, including backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and kayaking trips. Morgan holds a B.S. in Earth Systems Science and Policy with a minor in Outdoor Education from California State University, Monterey Bay, and has completed a semester in Patagonia with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Morgan lives on the Mountain Campus with his wife, Robyn, and their two daughters, Maiya and Maddy.
