One of the best ways to experience Steamboat Mountain School is by visiting our campuses in person. Campus visits allow families to explore our learning environments, meet faculty and students, and experience the culture and community that make SMS unique.
Whether you are exploring Lower School, Middle School, or Upper School, we encourage families to connect with our admissions team and experience daily life at SMS firsthand.
Why Visit Steamboat Mountain School?
A campus visit helps families better understand the SMS experience beyond what can be seen online. Visiting allows students and parents to experience the academic environment, community culture, and experiential learning opportunities that define Steamboat Mountain School.

Virtual options are especially helpful for out-of-state and international families exploring SMS.
Why visiting made the difference
“A major factor that compelled us to apply was our first campus visit. Meeting a variety of teachers and staff, and seeing how our son lit up in the environment and enjoyed visiting classrooms and engaging with students during his visit made us feel like this could be a great place for him.”
