Lizzy Brodsky
5th and 6th Grade Humanities
With a deep love for outdoor education and a classroom culture rooted in curiosity and exploration, Lizzy was drawn to Steamboat Mountain School for its programming and community, which perfectly align with her passions and teaching philosophy. She brings years of experience as an outdoor guide, coach, and classroom teacher, creating learning environments that foster camaraderie, encouragement, risk-taking, and discovery. Lizzy studied philosophy, literature, and civilization alongside the fine arts at Boston College and holds a Master’s in Education. She delights in sharing her love of stories—both from books and from the far corners of the world—that inspire compassion and civic responsibility. Outside the classroom, Lizzy is excited to share her passions for skiing, biking, camping, and mountain adventures with her husband and two young sons, while introducing them to the vibrant community of SMS.
