Emma Griffin

Lower School ELA and Math, 2nd Grade Homeroom

B.A. from Western State, M.N.S. from University of Wyoming

Emma brings a diverse background in education to her role as the first and second grade Humanities teacher. After completing her undergrad in Environmental Studies at Western State she pursued her Master’s in Natural Science Education at Teton Science Schools and the University of Wyoming. It was in the Tetons where Emma developed a strong passion for education that expands beyond the walls of a classroom. She believes that learning can incorporate the local environment and culture bringing the community into the classroom as well as taking the classroom out into the community.  When not teaching, she enjoys exploring the beautiful natural world that Steamboat has to offer with her husband and pup.
