Dylan is a passionate and globally minded International Relations major from Bard College (Class of 2025), with a focus on state power, cultural identity, and cross-border dynamics. His senior thesis analyzed Chinese state policy in Tibet through the lens of spatial engineering, and his independent research in Nepal explores shifting trade and cultural ties in the remote Tarap Valley. A two-year captain of Bard’s Men’s Soccer Team and Division III Academic All-District honoree, Dylan combines intellectual curiosity with grounded leadership. His experience leading high school students on international and backcountry expeditions with Overland Summers, along with his work as a camp counselor and tour guide, reflects his commitment to youth development and experiential education. Through Bard’s Trustee Leader Scholar Program, he has coordinated outreach with neurodivergent young adults. With strong research, language, and interpersonal skills, Dylan is prepared to engage thoughtfully and effectively in diverse educational and intercultural settings.
