Anne Sullivan is a dedicated education professional, administrator, and outdoor educator with expertise in teaching, curriculum development, technical skills and social-emotional learning. With a Master’s degree in Environmental Management, she excels in authentic relationship building, wilderness skills, and advancing DEIB practices. Anne has held leadership roles, including Director of Fieldwork at Tahoe Expedition Academy, prior to coming to Steamboat Mountain School. Anne has focused her career on integrating outdoor education with academic goals and supporting diverse learning needs in all learning environments. Her commitment to advancing DEIJB work and her multifaceted background make her an incredible asset to the SMS team.
In her personal time, Anne can be found paddling on the river, skiing & snowboarding (mostly in the backcountry), traveling, hiking, mountain biking, baking, reading and working in the garden. She is excited to share all her passions with the SMS community.
