Lauren Lieberman brings over two decades in college admissions and counseling to Steamboat Mountain School. She began her career in admissions at the University of Chicago, her alma mater, where she traveled the country recruiting students and spent months reviewing applications. Wanting to work more directly with students, she joined the college counseling office at The Latin School of Chicago and has since worked in several private schools, all supporting students and families through the college process. Most recently, Lauren was the Director of College Counseling at Shady Side Academy, a PK–12 college prep school, where she oversaw a team of four and led a college guidance program for a high school of about 500 students. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA, with her husband, two kids, and labradoodle.
