Ella Lepine was a Data Science major and Environmental Studies minor at Hamilton College (Class of 2025), with a strong academic record and a passion for education, outdoor leadership, and sustainability. As a math and computer science tutor at Hamilton’s tutoring center, she supported peers in mastering complex concepts through collaborative, inquiry-based learning. Ella’s dedication to youth development shined through her various roles as an outdoor educator in Telluride, Colorado, Freeport, Maine and Western Massachusetts where she led various outdoor programs focused on environmental stewardship, backcountry skills and team building. She is passionate about math education and getting students outside which has led her to Steamboat Mountain School this year. A certified Wilderness First Responder and varsity rower, she brings resilience, organization, and care to every endeavor. Whether designing backpacking trips, teaching sustainable practices, or decoding data patterns, Ella is driven by curiosity and a commitment to fostering growth—in both people and the planet.
