Neta grew up in Concord, MA and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. At Middlebury College, she led nonpartisan civic engagement initiatives and ski patrolled at the world famous Snow Bowl. Neta has also travelled and volunteered extensively in British Columbia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Puerto Rico, and New Zealand. Her passion for place-based education and community engagement brought her to Steamboat Mountain School. In her free time, Neta continues to ski patrol at Howelsen Hill and volunteers with The Cycle Effect and REPS. An advocate for women’s sports, Neta is always ready to share her enthusiasm on the topic. She also enjoys Lord of the Rings marathons, reading George RR Martin novels, playing board games with friends, and honing her barista skills.
